About TCS HackQuest Season 10
TCS HackQuest Season 10 is Tata Consultancy Services’ flagship cybersecurity challenge, designed to find India’s brightest ethical hackers and problem-solvers. It is a competitive platform where students demonstrate their cybersecurity skills, solve real-world challenges, and gain career opportunities in TCS’ Cybersecurity Center of Excellence.
This edition of HackQuest is open to 2026 pass-out students who want to showcase their cyber talent, win exciting prizes, and explore career opportunities in one of the most in-demand domains – cybersecurity.

Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
- Open to students from B.Tech, B.Sc, MCA, BCA backgrounds.
- 2026 batch students are eligible to participate.
- Must have a valid TCS NextStep Reference ID (CT/DT number).
- If you don’t have a reference ID, register on TCS NextStep (IT section only, not BPS).
- Passion for cybersecurity and willingness to learn is required (prior experience not mandatory).
Important Dates
- Registration End Date: 18th November 2025 (Tuesday).
- Round 1 (Qualifier): 13th December 2025 (Saturday), 10 AM – 4 PM IST.
Competition Rounds
Round 1 – Online Qualifier
- Multiple-choice and real-time problem-solving questions.
- Covers cryptography, network security, and ethical hacking basics.
Round 2 – Advanced Cyber Challenges
- Hands-on CTF (Capture the Flag)-style challenges.
- Realistic simulations of security threats and vulnerabilities.
Final Round – Grand Showdown
- Top teams/participants compete under the supervision of TCS experts.
