This role is based in IBM Client Innovation Centers, where teams deliver technical expertise and industry-specific solutions to both public and private sector clients. These centers focus on innovation, agility, and high-quality delivery.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer / Associate System Engineer, you will work across multiple stages of the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing components using modern programming languages.
- Troubleshooting and resolving application issues under the guidance of senior team members.
- Participating in requirement analysis, coding, testing, and implementing improvements.
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand challenges and propose creative technical solutions.
- Contributing to performance, scalability, and maintainability improvements.
- Supporting releases, documentation, and continuous integration processes.
Required Education & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BE/BTech) – Computer Science, IT, or related branches.
- Year of graduation must be 2025.
- Minimum 6 CGPA / 60% with no active backlogs.
Technical Skills:
- Programming knowledge (Java, C++, Python, Node.js preferred).
- Understanding of SDLC concepts.
- Strong logical and analytical abilities.
- Good communication skills (written & spoken).
Preferred Skills
- Engineering problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to adapt and work from any location in India.
- Good interpersonal collaboration skills.
