🛠 Job Description (GenC Role)
The GenC role involves fundamental technical and analytical responsibilities, including:
Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and raise necessary clarifications.
- Develop, maintain, debug, test, and deploy code based on specifications.
- Create documentation such as requirement notes and development records.
- Participate in Agile development practices and SDLC processes.
- Prepare test scenarios based on data and project needs.
- Design low-level components for assigned modules.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proactively identify issues and work on solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams through discussions and technical sessions.
- Focus on building reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions.
- Continuously learn and upgrade skills as per project requirements.
- Display strong communication and teamwork skills.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Only 2025 graduates from B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech can apply.
- Streams such as Leather, Food Tech, Fashion Tech are NOT eligible.
- Minimum 60% marks in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (no rounding off).
- No standing arrears allowed at the time of joining.
- CGPA–percentage conversion must follow university rules.
- Must be willing to work in any Cognizant office and shift.
- Open only to Indian citizens / OCI candidates residing in India.
- All communication will be sent to the registered email ID (Superset).
- The registered email should not be changed during the process.
📄 Mandatory Documents for Registration
- Resume with recent passport-size photograph.
- Industry-recognized certificates (if available).
📑 Documents Required for Interview
- All academic mark sheets.
- College ID card (if available).
- UG / PG provisional or degree certificate.
📝 Documents Required for Onboarding
- Valid PAN card (details must match your name correctly).
- Voter ID or Passport for citizenship verification.
