Role Overview
As a Decision Analytics Associate, you will join ZS’s Insights & Analytics group, partnering with clients to solve complex business challenges using data-driven approaches. This role involves working on multiple projects, applying advanced statistical models, and providing actionable recommendations.
You will leverage data analytics, quantitative modeling, and problem-solving skills to guide decision-making for clients and internal teams. You will also communicate findings clearly through reports and presentations and help develop client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply advanced statistical and analytical models to understand and solve dynamic business problems.
- Utilize programming and analytic tools such as R, SAS, Tableau, Visual Basic, Excel, and others to design custom analyses.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and tailor solutions.
- Interpret data, synthesize insights, and deliver clear, impactful presentations both orally and in writing.
- Manage project status updates and deliverables, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to the overall skill development of the team.
- Continuously improve ZS’s analytics capabilities by exploring new techniques and technologies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on analytics-related topics.
Who Should Apply?
Candidates who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline with strong quantitative coursework such as operations research, applied mathematics, management science, data science, statistics, econometrics, engineering, or related fields.
- Graduates from the batch years 2020 to 2025 are eligible.
- Up to 3 years of relevant professional experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or R.
- Experience or familiarity with analytics and visualization tools like SAS, Tableau, R, VBA, or similar.
- Exposure to big data ecosystems such as Hadoop or database systems is a plus.
