Job Description:

As a Service Desk Technical Analyst at CGI, you will be responsible for handling customer queries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring service requests are managed effectively. Your role will involve supporting users with IT-related concerns, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain quality service standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to software, hardware, and networking.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high-quality customer service.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the system.
  • Work closely with other technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CGI’s technology and service offerings.
  • Follow company guidelines for security and data protection.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and suggest improvements to enhance service efficiency.
  • Conduct basic training and guidance to end-users on IT tools and applications.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Open to graduates and postgraduates (any degree).
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, software applications, and troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing technical support role.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including rotational and night shifts if required.
  • Prior experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or service desk is an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in IT Support, Networking, or Customer Service is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in handling international clients in a service desk environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices in service management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work in a team-oriented environment.
